Entertaining Road Safety Lessons

On 7 September, Khru Prateep, Dr. Tatsuya Hata and staff of Sikkha Asia Foundation attended the “Story Caravan: Road Safety” activity at Ban Yang Nam Klat Tai School in Phetchaburi Province, where they were welcomed by the school director, Mr. Natthakorn Waranyasathit, teachers and the student body. Mr. Nick Holloway, ex-DPF volunteer and former coordinator of The Seek Fund, also joined the event staged by the DPF Nithan Caravan team, to teach the children about the importance of road safety via puppet shows, storytelling and fun educational games. Through these engaging activities, road safety became a familiar and meaningful topic which the children could easily understand and remember. The day was filled with laughter, smiles and lots of fun as the children actively participated in the activities.
