New Friend of the Foundation

On 16 July, Khru Prateep was delighted to welcome to the foundation Mr. Jan Willem de Heer, a new supporter of our projects in the Klong Toey community. Mr. de Heer was keen to see how the local children and families were benefitting from his generous support. During the visit, he observed the children enjoying their Montessori lessons in our kindergarten, our English language lab classroom and the DPF Recycling Project. Mr. de Heer is also supporting our “Fire Safe” initiative in the community to rewire 20 houses at high-risk of causing a fire with their old, unsafe electrical wiring, and he will also help acquire a second-hand, six-wheel truck for the recycling project. Thank you for your interest in the DPF’s activities, Mr. de Heer, and for helping to develop the poor people’s quality of life.
