Fire Relief in Memory of Alexis

On 26 August, Khru Prateep, on behalf of the Echavarria family in the USA, made financial donations totaling USD 2,000 to the 11 families affected by the destructive fire in the Nong Mai Community in July (5 homes completely destroyed and 6 heavily damaged). The funds will help them rebuild their homes. This charitable act of kindness was made in memory of the Echavarria’s sadly departed son, Alexis, for his birthday in August. The foundation has fond memories of Alexis from when he visited us 20 years ago with the Lifeworks student group to perform various voluntary works at our projects.
