Earthquake Victims Support

On 7 April, Khru Prateep and DPF staff visited the emergency shelters for victims of the March 28 earthquake to give encouragement and distribute 150 food boxes. They spoke with family members of the quake victims still waiting for news about their loved ones trapped inside the collapsed building, asking whether the victims were registered with the Department of Labour; whether they had any insurance; whether they were receiving enough assistance; and what else do they need. Before leaving they met a K9 Thailand rescue dog and her handler, who were on their last day of helping after 10 straight days of searching for trapped workers. Thank you to all the kind-hearted people and services who are helping in this crisis situation.
