Korean Wave

Korean culture arrived at the Kanchanaburi New Life Project recently when Ms. Sung-eun Kim (Minister-Counselor, Embassy of the Republic of Korea) and her family, Ms. Sunju Lee (Director of the Korean Cultural Center) and her family, Ms. Jin-ah Park (Jin Corporation CEO) and an expert trainer of Korean K-POP dance visited on July 27. The day’s program featured Korean food treats, such as gimbap and Korean-style chicken and sausages, other cultural items, and to the delight of the resident kids, K-POP dance lessons by an expert trainer. The visitors also took time to tour around the center’s activities, admiring the agricultural projects and the meditation center, as well as helping to collect eggs from the Happy Chicken free-range project.
