On September 22, the DPF volunteer fire and rescue team rushed to Chiang Rai where weeks of incessant rain have led to widespread flooding in Thailand’s northernmost province. As the waters have slowly receded, roads, homes, schools and business premises were left with thick layers of mud and debris inside. Our volunteers took their two water pumps to help the suffering Chiang Rai residents flush out the mud so they can begin to return to normal life. Our volunteers are working alongside a team from the Mirror Foundation.
