On September 24, over 200 representatives from the Klong Toey Housing Network, the Klong Toey District Community Organization Council, Duang Prateep Foundation, Human Development Center, Klong Toey Community Housing Cooperative Limited, the 4 Regions Slum Network, Railway Land Community Network, and Public Land Community Network came together to prepare a press release on the coming “World Habitat Day”. After the meeting, they also presented proposal letters to representatives at Government House, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Finance on subjects about:

1.Public land (such as communities in Bangkok and urban and rural communities) 

2.State Railway of Thailand land

3.Port Authority of Thailand land, which Klong Toey people want the PAT to share 20% for housing

4.Land tax

5.Cancelling the Electricity FT (Fuel Adjustment Charge)
