On September 25, Khru Prateep and Dr. Tatsuya Hata welcomed representatives from four organizations – Urban Heat Resilience (Australia), the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center, the Thailand Environment Institute, and Alluvium. They came to learn about the environment of the Klong Toey area and the local people’s lives. The group also donated baby milk powder to the DPF. Following the meeting, Khru took the researchers to see the environment around the Pattanamai Community, where they recommended the use of certain types of paint to protect against the heat.
