American Guests

On January 29 we were pleased to welcome eight staff members from the Community Liaison Office and the US Embassy who were keen to see the activities of the DPF kindergarten, including the Montessori classes and the basic-English lessons. They also donated soft toys, toiletries, story books, shoes and other items for the kids and school, and joined the kids in dances to help them work up an appetite before lunch, which they served to the students.

Later, the visitors walked through the nearby community to observe the living conditions of the people, while stopping off to present a wheelchair to woman suffering from cancer and adult diapers to two bed-ridden people. Rounding out the visit, Khru Prateep briefed them on the current development plan for the Klong Toey area and its impacts on the local people.
