The New Life Project for Boys, Chumporn Province

 

Background: 

 

This project starts in 1986 to support children and youths suffering from addiction problems by providing them with physical and mental rehabilitation using natural therapy. The project also now accepts children and youths who have other problems, such as orphaned children, street children, and children suffering violence, sex abuse, etc. 

 

Objectives: 

 

1. To rehabilitate both physical and mental health to children and youths

2. To enable children and youths to receive education and vocational skills according to their potential

3. To provide professional skills training focusing on agricultural activities

4. To develop their mind and change behavior to ready to return to family and society happily

 

Work area: 55 Moo 5 Tungkawat Sub-district, Lamae District, Kanchanaburi province. 

 

• 11.9 acres for children’s accommodation, living activities, vocational training

• 63.7 acres for agricultural activities such as oil palm farms, fruits gardens
