Myanmar Rotarians Provide for Kids’ Education

The Rotary Club of Shwe Bangkok, most of whose members are Myanmar nationals with businesses in Thailand, visited the DPF on February 28 to present educational scholarships to 10 Klong Toey children. Club President Ms. Aye Myat Thu and Charter President Mr. Alex Kaung Nyein Soe, who led the visiting group, said they want to build good friendships with Thai society by organizing meaningful activities for Thai children in Klong Toey. Their donated scholarships ranged from kindergarten to primary school children. We express our sincere thanks to the members of the Rotary Club of Shwe Bangkok for their kind understanding of the situation and their generous support for our poor children.
