Khru Prateep Presentation

Khru Prateep was invited to give a presentation on “Charitable Service: Strategy, Direction and Lessons Learned” at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park Hotel on 31 October. This was part of the hotel’s “Sustainable Stays” event, featuring a wide range of speakers coming together to share sustainable innovations and co-create pathways toward a better future. Khru’s talk focused on the inequalities in society which adversely impact its poor citizens, especially the disparity and unfairness of opportunity in education, housing, health and services for the elderly, among others. She then went on to highlight the various projects and works the Duang Prateep Foundation has been implementing for more than 40 years to help alleviate these impacts on poor people, showing the way for authorities, who have far more power and resources, to follow.
