Towards a Better Klong Toey

On January 25, Khru Prateep participated in “Klong Toey DD Project” (“A Better Klong Toey”) to launch two books about possible future housing design for Klong Toey people. This event was organized by Muang Thai Insurance Public Company Limited and Harvard University Graduate School of Design. During 2020-2024, Harvard students surveyed and researched Klong Toey areas in order to create a design for the development of residential areas to enhance the quality of life for Klong Toey people in a sustainable way. Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa (Minister for Social Development and Human Security), Dr. Chadchart Sittipunt (Bangkok Governor), Ms. Kyungsun Kim (UNICEF Representative in Thailand) and representatives from Harvard University participated in the event.
