Special Friend Visits

Former DPF volunteer, Khun Nick Holloway, paid us a welcome visit on 29 January to catch up on our current projects and discuss ongoing support, for which Nick helps to source the necessary funding. Upon entering the kindergarten, he was delighted to be welcomed in English by the students, before observing the school’s Montessori classes and specially equipped room for our basic-English lessons. He also took time to catch up with two former NLPK youths whom he assisted to travel to Australia to study English, and who have now returned to teach at the kindergarten. Moving up to the kindergarten roof, Khru Prateep explained to Nick where the solar cell system will be installed to help the school make savings on its electricity costs.
