Gala Sports Day

Excitement prevailed at the Chumchon Moobaanpattana School on June 5, when a gala sports day was held in a joint activity between the school and the DPF. Ms. Claire Berger (English Program Director at the DPF kindergarten) was the chief organizer, basing the event on similar sports days held in Australian schools. The students were divided into four “houses” (red, green, yellow and purple) to compete against each other in a range of indoor sports. Competition was fierce, as the students strove to win as many points as possible to add to their “house’s” tally. And when “the smoke of battle” had finally cleared, Purple House claimed top honors.
